Tuttle Elementary PTO
Last weekend, we participated in our first Touch-a-Truck fundraising event hosted by Tuttle Elementary PTO.
Families from all over the Oklahoma City Metro came to Tuttle to explore heavy equipment and vehicles that you don’t really get an opportunity to interact with very often, if at all. We spent the day with fire trucks, police cars, other heavy equipment, monster trucks, a limo, a mini sprint race car, tow trucks, vintage tractors and even a helicopter!
Our backhoe was a huge hit with the kiddos! Every set of eyes lit up when they found out they could really climb up in all of the “trucks.”

With help of an adult, the kids were free to climb in the backhoe and honk the horn. With the exception of the first quiet hour, there were horns, sirens and motors going constantly. It was an absolute blast.
I think this little guy is our number one fan! His mom was an event volunteer, so he spent almost the whole day with us.
We’d also like to thank Alexa Marie Photography for taking this amazing photo of our backhoe and these other photos of the event.
