Lagoons are an effective waste treatment system in central and western Oklahoma and are fairly easy to maintain. Per DEQ regulations, lagoons can only be constructed on a piece of land that is at least 2.5 acres. Lagoons must be located in a sunny area where trees and other structures will not restrict sunlight exposure or air flow. If you meet these requirements, your next step is an Oklahoma DEQ perc test. If you need help finding a certified soil tester in your area, contact us, we can recommend one for you.
A typical lagoon is installed in a day and a half.
While it will be next to impossible to make your yard look like we haven’t been there at all, we spend extra time after the installation dressing up your yard as best as we can. There is no extra charge for this type of dirt work.
Pricing for lagoons will be determined after a soil test has been performed.
This is definitely not the most popular option, but sometimes an alternative option for those who don’t want an aerobic system.
Installations over 50 miles away could incur a travel charge, which will be discussed at the time of scheduling.
No down payment is required to get on our schedule. Payment is due in full at the time of installation. We never charge extra for a DEQ septic permit or dirt work around the installation area.
Like the conventional septic system, this system is also low maintenance.
You will need to pump the septic tank every 3-5 years, depending on how many people live with you.
