Registering your storm shelter is easy and should be done immediately.

STORM SHELTER REGISTRATION

Installing a storm shelter is a big step toward protecting your family—but it doesn’t end there. Oklahoma storm shelter registration is an important part of making sure first responders can find you quickly in an emergency.

Have you registered your storm shelter with your city or county’s Emergency Management office yet?

Registering your storm shelter places your shelter’s location into an official database. After a tornado or severe weather event, first responders will use this information to help locate and rescue anyone who may be trapped.

Please note:
Sprague’s Backhoe does not register storm shelters.
If you recently had a storm shelter installed—whether by us or another company—you are responsible for registering it directly with your local Emergency Management office.

If you haven’t registered your storm shelter yet, find your city or town in the list below. Scroll down to the FAQ section for step-by-step instructions—it only takes a few minutes! If your location isn’t listed, please reach out to your nearest Emergency Management office for help.

Installation & Service Area Info

We proudly install storm shelters across Oklahoma only — we do not travel to other states, and we’re unable to make exceptions — but there are a few things to know:

  • Above ground shelter installations over 60 miles from our office in Bridge Creek may include a delivery charge.

  • Below ground shelter installations are typically limited to a 60-mile radius, though we occasionally go a bit farther with an additional fee.

  • We do not install or remove storm shelters inside garages.

➡️ Please check our Service Area page for more details about where we travel.
