Do I need a storm shelter permit?

One of our most frequently asked questions is “Do I have to get a permit before you install my storm shelter?

INSIDE CITY LIMITS: The answer is almost always YES!  Each city has different rules & regulations, so the cost of the permit and process will vary. Almost every city will require an application & an engineer drawing of the specifications of your storm shelter, which you get from us.

OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS: Rarely, but it’s best to check with your county just to be sure.
