🏍️ April 2015: Sprague’s Backhoe Sponsors the OKC National Memorial Run
We are incredibly honored to announce that Sprague’s Backhoe, LLC is a proud sponsor of the 8th Annual Oklahoma City National Memorial Run, happening Saturday, April 18, 2015—the 20th anniversary of a day none of us will ever forget.
This ride isn’t just another event on the calendar. It’s a powerful way for our community to come together to remember, honor, and support the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum.
💛 Stop By and See Us!
Come by Margarita Island OKC on the day of the ride—we’ll have one of our popular 6×8 slope front storm shelters on display in the parking lot, thanks to our friend David Dunn for letting us set up!
We’ve teamed up with our incredible manufacturer, Area Septic, to donate a storm shelter and full installation to one lucky winner. 100% of the proceeds from the giveaway will go to the Memorial Museum Fund.

🛠️ Why It Matters to Us
As a local, family-owned Oklahoma business, we believe in giving back—especially when it comes to something this close to our hearts. The Oklahoma City bombing impacted so many lives, and events like this remind us how strong our community really is.
Being able to contribute in a way that combines what we do best—storm shelters and safety—with a cause that honors and remembers is something we’ll never take for granted.
Thank you to everyone who makes this ride possible.
✨ Post-Event Update
Added after the event:
We’re proud to share that the 8th Annual OKC National Memorial Run raised nearly $40,000 for the Memorial Museum—up from around $28,000 the year before.
A huge thank you to Anheuser Busch Sales of Oklahoma for also contributing—donating 5¢ for every case of Budweiser sold in Oklahoma during April.
To everyone who rode, donated, volunteered, or cheered from the sidelines: you made this happen. Thank you for letting us be part of something so powerful.
