  • How to Share Your Exact Location Using Apple or Google Maps

Quick Answer:

Sprague’s Backhoe customers can easily share their exact location by dropping a pin in Apple Maps (iPhone) or Google Maps (any device) and using the share button. This ensures accurate utility locating and smooth storm shelter installation at your Bridge Creek, Oklahoma property.

You’re Already Our Customer – Here’s How to Help Us Help You Better

Thanks for choosing Sprague’s Backhoe for your storm shelter installation! We know you’re excited to get your family protected, and sharing your exact location is one of the most important steps to ensure everything goes smoothly.

With so many new developments and rural properties in Oklahoma, even your street address sometimes isn’t enough for our utility locators and delivery crews to find the right spot on the first try.

When you send us a location link, it helps us:

  • Send utility locators to the exact right spot
  • Get our delivery drivers to your property without delays
  • Make sure your storm shelter installation goes perfectly

Don’t worry – sharing your location is easier than you think, and you don’t need to be tech-savvy!

Which App Should I Use?

Quick decision:

  • iPhone or iPad users: Use Apple Maps (it’s already on your phone)
  • Android users or computer users: Use Google Maps
  • Not sure? If you have an iPhone and haven’t downloaded Google Maps, you’re using Apple Maps

iPhone/iPad Users: Apple Maps

Step-by-step:

  1. Open the Maps app (the default map app on your phone)
  2. Type your home address in the search bar OR tap the blue dot if you’re at the property
  3. Press and hold on the exact spot until a pin drops
  4. Tap the address box that appears at the bottom
  5. Tap the Share button (square with an arrow pointing up)
  6. Choose how to send it: Text, Email, or Copy Link

Google Maps Users

On your phone or tablet:

  1. Open the Google Maps app
  2. Type your address in the search bar OR tap and hold the spot until a red pin appears
  3. Tap the address or location name at the bottom
  4. Tap Share
  5. Choose Text, Email, or Copy Link

On a computer:

  1. Go to maps.google.com
  2. Search for your address OR right-click on your property and select “What’s here?”
  3. Click the address that pops up
  4. Click the Share icon
  5. Copy the link and email it to us

Having Trouble?

Pin won’t drop? Try zooming in closer to your property and pressing/holding again.

Address doesn’t show up? That’s totally normal for new developments! Just drop a pin on the spot where your house is.

Share button not working? Try closing the app completely and reopening it.

Still stuck? Call or text us at (405) 600-4905 – we’ll walk you through it! We’d rather spend a few minutes helping you than have our crew searching for your property.

Why This Matters for Your Installation

This small step makes a huge difference, especially for:

  • Brand-new neighborhoods where maps aren’t updated yet
  • Rural areas where GPS signals can be spotty
  • Large properties with long driveways or no visible address markers

Getting your location right the first time means:

  • Faster utility locating
  • On-time delivery
  • Smooth installation day
  • Your family protected sooner

We appreciate you taking this extra step – it helps us do our job right and gets your storm shelter installed without any delays.
